FBISE Grading System
From here you can see the FBISE Grading System. For marking the examinations.
You shall have to obtain at least minimum qualifying marks i.e. 33% in theory
and practical, separately
But in Diploma you need to obtain at least 40% marks in the theory component.
Recounting of Marks
Yes you can request to recount your marks. But to do so you have only 20days time period after announcement of FBSIE Result. Keep in mind your answers will not be re-evaluated rather Recounted. The concerned committee will make sure all the marks have been added & no answer is left unmarked.
FBISE Second Annual Examination
After annual examinations FBISE conducts Second Annual Examinations for those students who either failed or want to improve their marks or want to take additional subjects exams.
You can retake your SSC-II or HSSC-II exams to improve your grades/marks. You have four years after passing the exam (and before getting a higher qualification) to do this. If you apply for improvement but miss the chance, you can try again within the four-year limit. If you improve your grades, you’ll get a new Result Card without losing the old one. However, this option is only for students who passed from the Federal Board, not other education boards.
